ADMISSION PROCESS POLICIES

St. Samuel school offers the Cambridge curriculum blended with the GES curricular and seeks to enroll student who are capable of and committed to success in the total educational program of the school. We are delighted that you are considering St. Samuel for your child’s education. We a co-educational , independent, non-denominational preschool  & grade nine (9) school.

Our students are incredibly well-prepared and ready to succeed academically and assume leadership positions in a quickly evolving Africa and global community. St. Samuel student are afforded the opportunity to develop critical thinking skill from a critical system of learning and worldview, guiding them into making their relationship with world impactful in every area of their lives the Cambridge blended with the GES curriculum and classroom instruction is focused on maximizing of individual student achievement and developing strength of character.

Students are admitted to St. Samuel after proving they fulfil our prerequisite admissions requirements. Our comprehensive admissions process is meant to provide your family plenty of opportunities to get to know our school and for us to get to know you and your child.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA FOR PRESCHOOL- CLASS 6

Once you have determined that St. Samuel may be the right choice for your child, you can begin the application process immediately. The following policies apply to student seeking admission to St. Samuel:

  1. All student enrolling in KG 1&2 must be 4 years old on or before September 1 and fully potty trained and independent in the restroom. (mandatory)
  2. All class 1 student much be 5-6 years old on before sptember1 and fully potty trained and independent in the restroom. (mandatory)
  3. Please review our class 1 reading skill policies for students coming from other school. (must pass to be admitted)

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA FOR CLASS 1-Grade 9

The following policies apply to student seeking space fromclass1- Grade 9.

  1. Admissions testing for grade 1-6 to determine whether a student is able to succeed academically at HSS
  2. Student and parent interview with our admission team.
    *The grade expectation for all student applying is a ”pass” or higher in all core subject. Anything below that would need administrator’s approval

    Step 2: Submit the Application along with the application fee, (check in with school office for application fee)

    Step 3: Upload the following items with your online
    application.
    – Copy of Birth certicate
    -Teacher Recommendation (for transferred student) 
    -Any form of student assessment from previous school 
    -Disciplinary/Behavioral Record (mandatory)
    -Or complete admission at the front desk.
